Graham Holroyd
Graham Holroyd was one of the most exciting talents Leeds ever produced. A prolific points scorer he was the youngest player in the history of the game to score 500 career points and he had scored over 800 points at the age of 21 and looked set to break countless club records in his career.
However, arrival of Iestyn Harris in April 1997 reduced "Holly" to the role of squad player, a position he found difficult to deal with in his final two seasons at the club that saw him finish his time here tantilisingly close to the 1,000 point mark on 960 career points in 170 appearances.
He was top try scorer in 1996 with 13 and continued to be part of Graham Murray's 17 man game in 1998, making a telling contribution in the 1998 Grand Final off the bench.
He also played in 1994 and 1995 Challenge Cup Finals at Wembley however cruelly the season after he left the Rhinos went on to win the trophy where they had failed on his two previous visits.
After leaving Leeds Graham moved to his home town club of Halifax where he had a productive first season in 1999 scoring 199 points and finishing in the top ten try scorers however in 2000 he moved onto Salford where injuries hampered his time there.
He appeared for Great Britain Under 21 in 1993 against France. He also toured with Great Britain academy in 1994 to Australia. Graham returned to Halifax in 2007 from Doncaster
