How do I become a Match Official?
All you need to do is sign up to one of the many Match Officials course taking place across the country. This is a one day course that trains you in the basic laws with video clips of recent matches and practical Match Officials Drills. The course concludes with a video exam on the basics of the game.
The application form can be downloaded below.
Forms can be posted back to RLI or can be handed to your local development officer.
Once you've sat the course you can join your local Match Officials Society. This is an important part of your support and development as a Match Official and ensures that you get the best start as a Match Official in Rugby League.
You will receive information on the day with regard to joining your local Match Officials Society, this information though can also be obtained by contacting your local RLI development officer.
