Saturday has finally arrived, a complete free day. We are all getting the bus into Sydney but many of the players have plans to get the ferry to Manly and spend the day on the beach. I have travelled quite a bit and used commuter trains, light rails, trams, taxis but never ferries for local commutes so that should be interesting.
Some of the management team are planning to see some of the Sydney sights such as the Harbour bridge, the opera house and the Rocks markets. Nothing Big. We met up with one of our sponsors Mike Hatton from Hattons Solicitors and had a nice lunch in Oktoberfest, we go this far around the world and end up eating in a German foodhall.
The Rocks markets were spectacular with modern art, ethnic art and the general nic-nacs one would see at markets. Each of us had occasions in mind birthdays, Christmas, 21st's and there was plenty to choose from in the jewellery line.
It was a nice relaxing day, we got some great shots of the bridge and are half thinking of doing the walk across the bridge, whats the big deal with walking across a bridge I hear you ask we have all walked across bridges. This is a little special, you actually walk across the arch of the bridge using harnesses and climbing gear, that would really give a spectacular view although you are not allowed to bring a camera, for obvious reasons.
It´s getting close to match day and the tension is mounting. The team was announced yesterday evening
