Hi to you all from our base here in Paramtta, we have over the last couple of weeks settled in to the local community and the public have taken to us quite well. Things have gone very well over the last few days and the guys are in good shape and benefitted from a couple of days away from the training field before being brought back down to earth with a bump last Saturday during training. This session had a conditioning edge to sharpen them up and bring them back to a working ethic. This demanding schedule was spread over the two days and then on Sunday we took the chance to take the guys up to the Sydney Tower not something everyone took to - Eamon O´ Carroll who just days before was hit by the Tongan Juggernaut Anthony Kafusi quickly put himself back in the firing line to be hit again when he faced stepping out an a glass floored walk a thousand feet up in the air.
Tomorrows training will be attended by the legendary Andrew Johns. Time is flying by and the game approaches rapidly on Wednesday Night, 5th November when we face Samoa. The players are about ready to go and face the challenge again.
We could be on the verge of a great era in Irish Rugby League.
